Bookkeeper – Full/Part Time

Location – Hybrid / Manchester City Centre Salary – up to £36,000 Consultant – Sarah Duffy We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual, with experience within a small to medium sized accountancy practice to join the team as a Part time Bookkeeper (Full Time Applicants may also be considered) * Flextime * Hybrid working 1 days a week working from home 2 days office * Salary £27-35k DOE (pro rata) You will be working collaboratively within the bookkeeping team to meet clients bookkeeping needs. A key part of the role will also include the preparation and review of VAT returns as well as the preparation of management accounts where required by our client portfolio. Experience/Skills required for the Bookkeeping role * Practice experience * Strong bookkeeping knowledge of Xero, Sage and or other accounting systems * VAT return preparation, review and submission * Managements accounts preparation * Strong Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills * Excellent communication skills * Excellent planning and organizational skills * Keen to learn and develop new skills Responsibilities of the bookkeeper * Bookkeeping for clients * Liaising with clients and dealing with client queries regarding Bookkeeping * Preparing, reviewing and submitting VAT Returns * Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information * Raising sales invoices for clients This role provides an excellent environment for an experienced bookkeeper to flourish and continue to extend their Bookkeeping knowledge long term If you do not have an up-to-date CV and would like to have a conversation about the role, please contact Sarah Duffy on (phone number removed) for an initial conversation about the role
