As a Bookkeeper your duties and responsibilities will vary daily but predominantly the following:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statement, credit card and expenses
- Handle sales and purchase ledger using QuickBooks (with some on Sage)
- Prepare VAT returns
- Credit control
- First point of contact for all financial issues.
- A self-motivated and well-organised individual with a high level of personal and professional skills.
- Ability to plan and work to deadlines and proactively, effective prioritisation and to anticipate issues and problems and find solutions.
- Willingness to work flexibly, when and where necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to relate to a wide range of people including senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer services skills.
