The position is set to begin in September and offers a temporary contract with the potential for permanency. You will be teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 in a school that received a "Good" rating in all areas in its most recent Ofsted inspection. Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic department in a secondary school near Portsmouth. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. The school is open to considering teachers who may not specialize in Science but have relevant teaching experience at the secondary level. About the School: This mixed secondary school, located in Portsmouth, caters to approximately 1,000 students aged 11 to 16. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies. Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build a collaborative learning community. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Science or a related field. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
