Descartes is trusted by a panel of A-rated (re)insurers to carry out its activities.ABOUT YOUR ROLEDescartes is seeking a Social Media Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Communication Team. You will report to the Chief Marketing Communication Officer (CMO) and you will be a key contributor to the content that is presented to our potential clients on our different marketing channels, and manage directly our social media (LinkedIn and X).The applicant will be in close and effective cooperation with all business units, in particular with the sales, RD, underwriting and communication teams and play a vital role in the following activities:Business scientific Content production to nurture our broker corporate clients:Manage global content development from concept to final material delivery, taking into account market specificities, commercial strategy, competitive landscape and Descartes’ internal expertise (10 countries, 20+ perils, 8+ industries)Identify the key messages to display Descartes' expertise about climate change, emerging risks, cyber, natural perils, modelling technologiesRun qualitative and quantitative assessments of existing and missing commercial content and work cross-functionally to build and test informed marketing materialServe as the link between underwriting, RD and commercial communications in investigating and building improved marketing materials such as pitch decks (in relation with Product manager), Product and industry sheets, case studies, scientific articles and newsletters. This implies to taking into account localization and industry segment specificities.Social network strategy and publication:Be responsible for the schedule and delivering of the posts in coordination with the CMOWrite the messaging and create the visuals, with the help of our graphic designer when needed, for LinkedIn and X. The posts can be about scientific contents, solutions and perils, corporate branding messagingCreate the text of the landing page in the website when the post is about a publication, with the help of the WebmasterAllow smooth coordination by closely collaborating with other team members and encourage best practices to improve our performance.Market WatchContribute to the market watch that is done by the head of external Com with regular monitoring of the competitive landscape (brokers, competitors, insurers, agencies…), Nat Cat insurance, parametric solutions, loss events, global panorama and evolutions, etc.Your missions will evolve in the future as Descartes is growing fast and many exciting projects are waiting for you. It's a unique opportunity to take a closer look inside a fast-growing scale up with huge ambitions!ABOUT YOUEXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONSGraduated from a Business or/and University with a specialization in marketing or/and communicationFrom 3 years of experience (including internships and apprenticeships) in marketing content production and social media in a similar position.SKILLSFluency in English (written verbal communication) mandatory.
