You will play an integral role in delivering cutting-edge solutions and work with Account Managers to support projects and optimize sales opportunities in key accounts.Must be local to Calgary or willing to relocate.A Day in the Life:Designing and implementing industry-leading technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy consulting skills, both business and technicalDevelop complete customer-focused technology solutions for current and new service offeringsCreate detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information Work as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementationProvide pre-sales technical assistance, demonstrations, and product education as requiredMeet with clients to determine needs and/or identify problem areasWork with Long View business units and practices to ensure sales opportunities progress efficiently and in a timely fashion toward successful closureDocument and develop in-depth knowledge of the project-based solution architecture, and technology portfolio in a standard format such as Solutions Architecture Design Document (SADD) Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture and documenting the details in SADD as per the processes. Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of the project solution development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness and functional flexibility.Support and mentor team by offering technical leadership and support as required Act as a trusted advisor to your clients and teamWhat You Bring:6+ years of experience working as a subject matter expert in at least 2 technology areas (Microsoft, cloud, Data Center Architecture and networking), one of which must be MicrosoftAdvanced level understanding of a wide range of technologies such as: Server, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/LDAP, ADFS, Office 365, Azure, Skype for Business, System Center Suite and IntuneExcellent understanding of Video Management Systems and Access ControlPrevious experience in Cloud to Cloud ApplicationsExperience with Networking (Switch, Fiber etc.) connectivity and capacity planningExperience managing multiple stakeholders and Vendor management Capability to articulate how technical features of solutions result in tangible business benefitsAbility to facilitate impactful workshops (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions)Familiarity with the sales process and willingness to work within the approved Long View processesPrevious experience responding and assisting with RFPs, RFQs and RFIsDemonstrated life-long learner who is motivated to stay relevant in area of expertiseSolution-focused mindset and creative thinkerStrong consulting, collaboration and leadership skillsWhat Makes You Extra Awesome:Microsoft Azure CertificationsData Center or Video Management Systems CertificationTOGAF Certification Why Work at Long View:Great people and cultureInteresting work– Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologiesFlexible environment– A workplace that values the importance of flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness, and wellnessWant to learn more about our culture and life at Long View?
