Mechanical Engineer

We are sourcing a Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical expertise and support for ongoing projects and plant operations ensuring compliance with current legislation.    Join our client, who values innovation, dedication, and teamwork. Offering a competitive salary and a collaborative work environment on a 6-month fixed-term contract.    Key Responsibilities: Initial contact for technical queries and information requests Scope and generate maintenance plans for new plant items Attend project meetings Project support tasks and integrate necessary activities into plans such as, risk assessments and permits Assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure timely action completion Contribute to shutdowns and unplanned stops Lead in resolving mechanical breakdowns using available resources Qualifications: BEng (hons) degree or equivalent (HNC minimum) CMMS training Experience in a similar industry and top-tier COMAH site Proficient in MS Office, project management systems, CMMS, and statutory inspections databases If you are interested in this Mechanical Engineer position and meet these qualifications, please submit your CV for consideration
