Dispatch and Stores Operative/Counter Balance Forklift Driver

Our client is based in Worthing, West Sussex. They are a family run business with almost 50 years expertise design, manufacturing and distribution. They are dedicated to delivering tailored, practical solutions for our partners. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Dispatch and Stores Operatives to receive, handle and despatch goods and products coming into, and going out of the factories (Worthing and Goring), ensuring operations are completed in a safe and efficient manner. They are looking for a team player who is driven, solutions focused and able to work to their own initiative Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all warehouse work across both sites, packing and dispatch Loading and unloading materials using the forklift Goods inwards/outwards processing Making deliveries and collections in the work van Moving stock, kits and assemblies across both factories Checking in free issue kits/parts Assist with kitting and stock control Any other reasonable duties as required by Operations Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in a similar role Computer literate Full driving licence is a must Counterbalance forklift licence (refreshers can be booked) Import / Export knowledge is advantageous Experience with CRM/ERP system is advantageous 7.5T licence is advantageous What they offer in return: 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays 1pm finish on Fridays Free on-site parking Apprenticeship and upskilling opportunities Employee Assistance Programme & Discounts Portal Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Christmas & summer socials and staff treat days Free annual flu vaccinations on-site Cycle to Work Scheme Suggestion Scheme Volunteering Scheme & ad hoc fundraising events Company events Company pension On-site gym Schedule: Days shift, Monday – Friday Licence/Certification: Driving Licence Counter Balance Forklift Licence
