With BPTN’s accelerated growth, we are looking for a Partnerships Director to join the Sales team. We are building a global network and want to bring on a sales professional with the passion to make a difference. This is a ground-level opportunity to play a critical role in the acquisition of new enterprise customers, in the Small to Medium Business market segment, as we grow our customer base in North America. As our Partnerships Director, you will lead the end-to-end sales process, with a focus on key regions in Canada and the US. You will work to achieve revenue and long-term account goals that align with the company goals while maintaining a satisfying relationship with our customers in the SMB market segment. You will succeed because you are inspired by our mission to provide black professionals in tech access to a strong peer network, senior executive sponsorship and skills building to support their development.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Provide real solutions to global companies attempting to hire and promote Black tech talent.Define and develop solutions selling strategies to introduce BPTN to enterprise customers and demonstrate how our work can add value to their organizations. Help build a robust pipeline of quality corporate partners with long term relationships leveraging your honed lead generation skills.Design, develop, and deliver captivating sales proposals and presentations on product benefits. Build relationships and convert corporate companies into BPTN customers by proactively seeking out sales opportunities through networking, industry events, cold calling, social selling and other activities. Monitor and report on sales performance analytics using CRM tools. EDUCATION: Completion of high school diploma and or post-secondary education in a relevant field– Post secondary education preferred. QUALIFICATIONSWe are seeking someone with the following:Passionate about Diversity in Technology and looking to make a difference in your day-to-day work.Experience building relationships and negotiating with senior-level executives with an understanding of how to help build a rapidly growing start-up company.Flexible and adaptable in a changing market and industry. Passionate about supporting companies to hire and promote more Black professionals. 5+ years sales/account executive experience.Persuasive and unafraid to negotiate; has good business acumen.A high level of empathy and demonstrated customer relations and interface.Knowledgeable of the technology sector and trends.Skilled at Project Management, ensuring projects are completed from start to end. You can foster healthy relationships and manage stakeholder expectations, communicating effectively across teams.What you bring: You are a sales-focused professional with a demonstrated track record of developing strategies, identifying, selling, and closing deals with corporate leaders and executives. You are driven to exceed sales goals, ambitious and enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds.
