About the role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a senior position within the business and will take responsibility for the Financial Accounting within the company. This role is an excellent entry point into the business for either a finalist or qualified accountant in their first years post qualification. Key responsibilities Full ownership of cash position, including reporting this to FD and Directors Month and Year end ownership Production of Monthly Management Accounts including commentary Assisting with the overall running of the finance department Working with third party partners and management of pension plan Bank reconciliation for UK and Foreign Currency (FOREX) accounts Set up and process of electronic transfers Production of pre-payments and accruals Stakeholder management with different functions including sales team members Liaise with and take ownership of audit relationship Accounts reconciliation Continuous improvement of systems, processes, procedures and spotting opportunities Fixed asset registerPerson profile Finalist or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent) Ambitious and career motivated High personal integrity, motivation and pride in personal performance Excellent personal presentation, communication and character Excellent stakeholder management skill First class reporting ability, including good knowledge of financial systems.Package £50,000 - £60,000 plus excellent bonus, pension, career development, perks and benefits Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
