Our public sector client is looking for a Solution Architect to act as technical lead on multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Solution Architect on multiple business technology projects
- Work with stakeholders to assess and understand business project requirements and outcomes
- Develop conceptual and logical design for business technology problems
- Work as the Technical Lead on projects, holding vendor and government technical resources accountable for ensuring solution’s architectures comply with current standards and are in alignment with the direction of the client environment
- Coordinate the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance process
- Oversee the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutions
- Participating and contributing to the maturity of the architecture practice
- Developing and maintaining technology standards and system roadmaps
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing Solution Architect leading solution design and implementation on complex projects including cloud integrations
- Experience as a Solution Architect on at least 5 business technology projects
- Experience implementing and integrating Azure and Oracle Cloud PaaS and SaaS services within a solution
- Demonstrated experience as a technical lead on projects overseeing third party implementors and proprietary technology solutions
- Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer
- Demonstrated knowledge and successful implementation of a wide variety of modern IT technologies
- Demonstrated experience using modern architectural principles and applying current best practices as part of an enterprise solution design
- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing architectural and technology standards
- Certifications with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud services are considered an asset
- Project Manager Certification is considered an asset
Hourly rate: $110-$125
