United Living Group's investment enables Heatly to enhance our capabilities, broaden our product scope and accelerate our market expansion efforts.  Job Description The purpose of the Technical Architect role is to design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions that align with the Heatly’s business objectives. The Technical Architect is responsible for translating complex business requirements into technical strategies and architectures, ensuring that all systems and applications are integrated effectively and future-proofed. This role is pivotal in driving technical innovation, optimizing system performance, and providing technical leadership across projects. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Develop comprehensive technical architectures that meet business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Create detailed blueprints for system and application architectures, defining components, interfaces, and data flows. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor development teams, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions. Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals, facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Review and approve architectural designs, ensuring they meet quality standards and project objectives. System Integration: Oversee the integration of new technologies, systems, and applications into existing infrastructure. Ensure seamless interoperability between different systems and platforms, minimizing disruption and maximizing efficiency. Address integration challenges and develop solutions to ensure smooth implementation. Innovation and Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies that could enhance the organization’s technical capabilities. Lead the implementation of proof-of-concept projects to assess the feasibility and benefits of new technologies. Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural designs, standards, and best practices. Establish and enforce architectural standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects. Ensure that all technical documentation is accessible and up-to-date, supporting ongoing development and maintenance. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with technical solutions, including security, compliance, and operational risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks. Monitor technical debt and ensure that it is managed effectively to maintain system integrity and performance. Qualifications  Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Extensive experience in a technical architect or similar role within Building Services, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions using the Agile methodology. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software architecture, system integration, cloud computing, and enterprise-level technology solutions. Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and guiding technical teams. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges. Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Desirable: Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
