Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer (Python Developer)

Toronto – Hybrid- 3days on site1 year ++. willing to convert to an FTE1st round Webex screen, 2nd round in person, technical. OverviewWealth Management (WM) GAM DevOpsDeploy Python and C# apps from scratch to the cloud, help set up local environment. Will be business facing. Will NOT be building CICD pipelines, only maintaining.Looking for a stakeholder facing resource, so demonstrated communication skills and a track record of interfacing with stakeholders is paramount.This person is not building pipelines (this is important to know).They will need to know how to build and deploy applications in the Cloud.Sr Level Python app dev exp who have worked in Microsoft Azure environments and/or have C# expertise and have used Docker to containerize applications for deployment will be a win.If they have Kubernetes or AKS for orchestration, that is a huge benefit. NodeJS and Angular are not needed but nice to have.Daily Responsibilities:Provide consultant service to stakeholders including developers, business users and othersCollaborate with development, operations, and other stakeholders to align platforms with application and business requirements.Assist stakeholders to fit standards / requirements.Maintain DevOps pipeline configuration and target for no-touch production deployment enablement.Identify and resolve issues related to cloud / VM infrastructure, networking and performance in a timely manner, e.g. Fix vulnerability issuesImplement and manage cloud resources and service on Kubernetes cloud platforms, e.g. OpenshiftSetup monitoring, alerting and automated scaling to ensure the availability and performance of cloud resourcesMust-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:Excellent communication and collaboration abilitiesExperienced in python application developmentExperienced in no-touch / low-touch CICD pipeline maintenanceStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Docker / KubernetesFamiliarity with VM deployment and config management.Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:Excellent communication and collaboration abilitiesExperienced in python application developmentExperienced in no-touch / low-touch CICD pipeline maintenanceStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Docker / KubernetesFamiliarity with VM deployment and config management.
