They are now seeking a proactive and skilled Machining Supervisor to lead their dynamic In-situ team and uphold their high standards. As the In-situ Machining Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations and manage the In-situ Machining team. Your leadership will ensure that our client's work scopes are delivered to the highest specifications, achieving commercial success and customer satisfaction. You will drive the team towards surpassing their Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets through class-leading processes and tools. Responsibilities: Manage daily activities of the In-situ Machining and Maintenance teams, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Organise and support training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities. Provide technical support and oversee the maintenance programme and tooling management. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and manage documentation related to equipment certifications. Actively participate in production meetings, preparing and aligning resources for upcoming projects. Lead continuous improvement efforts and support the design teams in achieving project targets. Perform site surveys and assist in R&D In-situ trials. Manage company assets, including tooling and company vehicles. Key Requirements: Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, or a similar field. Demonstrated problem-solving prowess and a strong track record in a leadership role. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient with MS Office and MRP systems, and adherence to lean manufacturing principles. Flexible, dependable, and committed to continuous improvement and excellence. What's on Offer: A salary in the range £43,000 - £48,000 depending on experience.
