Parts Advisor
Stoke-on-Trent

£23,100 - £25,700 per annum
Ideal Recruit are currently looking for a Parts Advisor on behalf of our client in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience of working in a busy parts department to develop their career within the commercial vehicle sector.
Although experience with commercial vehicles would be preferred, my client will accept applicants with Parts experience within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process any parts related enquires giving the correct identification and information required.
- Promote parts in compliance with customer upselling guidelines
- Assist and develop parts sales with the objective of meeting Branch Parts Targets
- Provide 24-hour call-out as per rota.
- Assist and maintain stock room duties.
- Ensure workstation and parts departments comply with 5S programme
- Liaise with customers and assist with any queries, keeping up with progress
- Maintain the Parts Department standards, adhere and uphold all ISO9002 requirements
- Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
- Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience with motor vehicle parts (Commercial desired)
- Proactive approach in maintaining customer standards
- Good telephone manner
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Good analytical, organisational and administration skills
