We are looking for a passionate, hard-working _ Registered Dental Hygienist _to add to our team of dental professionals at City Smiles Dentistry.
The ideal Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients' needs.
Position Description: This is a part-time position (2 days per week)
. Competitive compensation
. Office hours Monday 8-7:30pm, Tuesday- Thursday 8-4:30, Friday 8-2
. Currently registered with the CDHO and is good standing
. Valid CPR Certification
This individual's responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Performing preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, and topical fluoride
Examining teeth
Serve as an oral health advocate and educator
Taking dental records including digital x-rays, periodontal probing, and dental impressions
Documenting detailed notes and recording/updating patient medical histories and medication lists
Schedule auditing and treatment planning
Establish and maintain great patient relationships
