It offers a differentiated consulting service in Life Sciences with a compelling value proposition - building on Veeva’s position as the digital partner of choice for 85% of the top 20 Pharmaceutical companies.As a Senior Consultant, you will manage complex and novel consulting projects for Veeva customers – managing teams and planning, organizing, and tracking all aspects of delivery. You will analyse complex problems, build insightful solutions and develop close working relationships with customers to deliver demonstrable, sustainable value, at the forefront of digital and commercial innovation.Opportunities are available across Europe for this role as this is a remote position. There is no work location requirement if a candidate is in proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the EU (for EU locations) and the UK (for UK-based candidates).What You’ll DoAs a Senior Consultant, you will be expected to:Lead complex projects as the operational face of the Veeva Business Consulting team, with responsibility for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of delivery, including scope, quality, resources, risk, and timelinesBe responsible for the end-to-end design, build, and delivery of deliverables that meet overall project goals and objectivesIdentify and proactively solve problems faced by the clientBe a trusted client contact for operational and strategic questions, developing the relationship through face-to-face discussions, workshops, telephone and email contactManage the work and priorities of team members in your project (s)Support and mentor Consultants and Associates in developing skills and professional capabilitiesBring clients a superior level of Industry, market, and functional insightProactively lead business development opportunities and proposalsDevelop and disseminate thought leadership and campaigns that differentiate Veeva Business Consulting in the marketRequirementsBachelor's degree and excellent academic record8+ years of consulting experience in an established strategic/management consulting organizationExperience in Life Sciences, particularly in the Commercial and Medical areaGood understanding of Commercial, with proven expertise in two or more of the following areas: multi-channel strategy and optimization, product launch, go-to-market strategy, commercial model design, key account planning and management, segmentation and targeting, insight and analytics, brand strategy, and medical affairsGood understanding of commercial / marketing technology and, ideally, Veeva’s platforms and solutions and how business consulting offerings can both leverage and support theseGood understanding of the business capabilities and drivers underpinning digital technology in Health and life sciences and the market forces and trends driving industry changes in Health & Life SciencesExperience in leading business development activities to build customer relationships and sell workProven analytical skills, able to quantitatively and qualitatively assess problems and communicate responses across a range of issuesA problem-solving mindset: anticipating issues early, analyzing and proactively finding solutionsDemonstrated leadership of others in the delivery of complex deliverablesHighly effective project management skillsAble to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and quickly establish credibilityHave a strong personal impact and are able to influence and persuade a range of stakeholdersAn effective communicator verbally and written, in English and in the local office languageNice to HaveGraduate level qualification, PhD, and/or MBAStrong network in the Top 20 Life Science companiesExperience with digital technologies – channels, analytics tools, emerging technologyExperience working with SaaS solutionsUnderstanding/experience of AI and its applications in sales and marketingFluency in additional European languagesPerks & BenefitsHighly competitive remunerationOpportunity for rapid growth and progressionAllocations for continuous learning & developmentHealth & wellness programs#RemoteFranceBCCommStrategyVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.As an equal opportunity employer, Veeva is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and growing a diverse workforce.
