Commercial Manager

This is an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a Tier 1 main contractor responsible for the London Division. About the role of Commercial Manager Reporting to the Commercial Director your role will be to ensure the commercial success of the London region that turnovers approx £200m with average project valued from £35-£100m. With projects varying from frameworks and repeat business with private and public sector clients and new build technical facilities and Cut & Carve refurbishments. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure the projects are managed to completion within the terms of the contract and in budgets. You will be responsible for your teams own personal growth by providing assistance and support and developing their knowledge whilst ensuring the projects are sufficiently staffed. You will also be responsible for, but not limited to; maximising monthly valuations, ensuring compliance within company commercial procedures are met, supporting with complex negotiations, liaising with internal and external solicitors and managing and reviewing budget forecasts. Requirements for Commercial Manager: The company are looking for a personable candidate who can lead by example and provide support where needed. You will have experience working on Cut and Carve projects ideally with both JCT and NEC contract. Excellent people management skills Cut and Carve projects Experience with managing a portfolio of projects Proven accountability for Profit and Loss across that portfolio Degree Qualified or Equivilant RICS chartered or working towards this.The company: The company are a UK wide Tier 1 Main Contractor who turnover more than £3bn and have had strong growth over the past 12 months.
