Job Advertisement: Primary School Teacher (Years 1 & 2) - Long Term Role Location: Gloucester Position Type: Full-Time (5 days per week) Duration: September 2024 - February 2025 Salary: £140 - £180 per day About the Role Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable primary school in Gloucester for an experienced and dedicated Primary School Teacher. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to teach a lively and engaging class of 30 pupils in Years 1 and 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and inspiring curriculum while effectively managing classroom behaviour. Key Responsibilities * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. * Assess, track, and report on pupil progress. * Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Implement effective behaviour management strategies. * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members. * Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * Proven experience in teaching Years 1 and 2. * Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behaviour effectively. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. * This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
