Purchasing Officer – Eastwood – To £27,500

Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing, family-owned business who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Officer to join their team.
Reporting into the Purchasing Team Leader, this newly created role is the perfect development opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to support the team.
The business which has recently moved to brand new premises is going through a strong period of growth and it’s a very exciting time to join!

As the Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders
• Processing purchase requests and placing purchase orders
• Obtaining quotations from existing and new potential new suppliers
• Negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers
• Maintaining data onto system
• Creating new part numbers
• Analysing and resolving invoice queries by communicating with suppliers

Your working Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday


Skills & Experience you require:

• Experience within a similar role
• Previous knowledge of ERP systems desirable
• Ability to work with large amounts of complex data
• Strong negotiations skills
• Experience in organising and managing competitive tenders
