We're looking for a mission-driven Specialist, Centralized Programs is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.Your Impact at CNIB Work closely with the department and regional program teams to develop and implement strategies for program improvement and growth for National Engagements. Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the program content remains relevant, inclusive, accessible and innovative to all individuals living with sight loss. Assist in the design and delivery of National CNIB Engagements, programs resources, and materials to support participants’ learning experience. Contribute to create marketing strategies and promotional materials to attract, engage, and retain CNIB participants and stakeholders based on program content and industry trends. Create and implement communication plans to keep participants informed about program updates, events, and opportunities. Gather feedback from participants and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership expansion to enhance programs’ impact. Organize regular meetings, workshops, and networking opportunities to facilitate participant interaction, collaboration and program content. The Specialist, Centralized Programswill serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries from event stakeholders, including particpants, vendors, staff, and attendees. Working with the Director, assist in the development of budgets for different activities and engagements, and help to track expenses throughout the planning process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Maintain accurate records of participant and stakeholder interactions, feedback, and survey results. Working with the Service Quality team, utilize data to track program metrics, evaluate performance, and generate actionable insights and participant feedback. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations for future opportunities. This position may require occasional travel and work outside of regular business hours. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the role may involve working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. RequirementsWho you areEducation and CertificationsBachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, business administration, or a related field or commensurate experience. Experience and Qualifications Proven experience in event planning and logistics coordination, preferably in a conference or corporate event setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in event planning and logistics management.
