We do this by focusing on our corporate values of Collaboration, Adaptability, Integrity, and Respect.The RoleWe are looking for a Manager, Product, to lead a team of product owners responsible for ensuring that the most valuable enhancements to Fundserv’s products are prioritized and developed, by identifying business needs, gathering requirements, managing product releases, and representing the voice of the member within agile development teams.In this role you will…Lead a team of Product Owners, including but not limited to performance management and employee development, recruitment and onboarding, operational and workload managementServe as a thought leader to identify improvements and define best practices and methodologies for Product Owner processes and activitiesWork with internal and external stakeholders to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.Be accountable for the full product life-cycle from launch, to ongoing enhancements, through to decommissioningOwn the product backlog for a portfolio of products and services, including leading working group meetings, developing the scope, and defining backlog itemsSolve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance as a measure of successWhy you are the person we’re looking for…You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:Manage the end-to-end life-cycle of a product or portfolio of products/services in the financial services, investment fund or fintech industryUse strong analytical skills to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and operational requirementsUtilize various agile requirements analysis and modeling techniquesWork effectively within the agile development methodologyLead, mentor, and develop other product ownersEffectively communicate and build rapport with various internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed environmentThe following is not required but will be a bonus:Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and/or equivalent designationExperience with Jira, Confluence, and APIsWe recognize that there are different paths to gaining skills, so if you have diverse experience which doesn’t match the criteria exactly, but you think you would be great in this role, we invite you to apply!Why Work Here Our Benefits and PerksWe’ve consistently been recognized as a GTA Top Employer and a Canada Top Small & Medium Employer.
