Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Coventry, UK Salary: £20,000+ (TBC based on experience) Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent appointment Start Date: Immediate Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? As a foundational member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students and the school itself. Key Responsibilities: Build Relationships: Quickly establish strong, trusting relationships with pupils. Adapt Curriculum: Tailor the national curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our learners. • Support Learning: Translate learning outcomes for students with various challenges. • Provide Assistance: Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. • Foster Inclusion: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers and other staff members to support student progress. What We’re Looking For: • Qualifications: CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3, or HLTA certification. Unqualified Teaching Assistants will be considered with appropriate previous SEN experience. • Experience: Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and its adaptation for SEN students. • Agility: Ability to be responsive to the needs of pupils. • Empathy: Understanding of the challenges faced by our students. • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills.
