Anglicare's Project Management Office currently have a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their team on a 10 month contract. This role will be a full time - fixed term position until the end of the Financial Year with possibility of extension.

Business Analyst – Technology Projects

is primarily responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, with a strong focus on designing telephony solutions to transition users to Teams Calling, as well as developing End User Compute (EUC) Persona Architecture and endpoint life cycle strategies.

The role emphasises data-driven decision-making and the creation of detailed design documents that guide the implementation process. The Business Analyst will work closely with the ICT team and business stakeholders to ensure that the designed solutions are effectively implemented and deployed in alignment with organisational goals.

Your role in supporting Anglicare will include:

Engage stakeholders and apply a structured approach for the collection, documentation and analysis of business needs and desired outcomes. Elicit and document requirements by reviewing existing documentation and running requirements gathering workshops. Facilitate business process improvement workshops. Document information and procedures utilising Business Process Modelling (BPMN) techniques. Undertake business process analysis and redesign in collaboration with the business through the review and amendment of existing As-Is / To-Be business processes and workflows. Work with the business to review and amend existing procedure manuals and guides. Perform gap analysis & impact assessments. Assist in writing project artefacts such as business case, scoping documents, user stories and test scenarios etc. Support all stages of testing of the solution against the requirements. What you will bring to the role:

Demonstrated experience in the fields of stakeholder management and liaison, business process review and improvement, requirements definition, business case development, and vendor management. Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. High level problem solving and organisational skills including the ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail. Ability to extract various needs of project stakeholders to formulate a single, consistent vision. High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders. Consults and shares information and ensures others are kept informed of the issues. Ability to work autonomously, develops realistic plans for achieving goals and monitors and reports on progress effectively. Successful candidates will also need to provide a national police certificate and drivers license.
