Corporate Tax Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Consultant to join our team at Lidl - Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on a variety of corporate income tax matters, including capital allowances, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team on corporate income tax matters, including capital allowances, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes


• Prepare supporting working papers, including assembly of data into tax returns and payment calculations


• Interrogate accounting systems and analyze outputs from other departments


• Ad-hoc consulting and advisory projects, including liaising with internal stakeholders, information providers, external advisers, and revenue authorities


• Support compliance, including process control design and testing

Requirements

• CTA qualification is essential


• Detailed understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including journal adjustments and GL reconciliations


• Software skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP


• Retail industry experience is desirable


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges


• Commitment to lifelong learning and personal development


• Ability to work independently, managing conflicting priorities with ease and efficiency


• An excellent communicator and multi-tasker with exceptional organizational abilities
