Air Freight Exports Clerk

Our client is a well-established global service provider to the Freight forwarding, express and international parcels, warehousing and logistics industry. We are now looking for an Air Freight Exports Clerk based at our clients global freight forwarding team in Slough You will arrange and manage the transportation cycle by air freight and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure a seamless service Your role will involve: * Create and issue Freight quotations for aie freight exports * Booking shipments with airlines * Negotiating rates with airlines * Arranging collections with the transport department or sub-contractors * Prepare, control & distribute all required export documentation to counterparts complying with regulations & internal procedures * Follow up air freight shipment status, identify incidents & ensure resolution of incidents * Handling customer enquiries and maintaining relationships Skills and experience required: * We require an individual who is a competent Air Freight Export Executive with strong air freight exports experience. * You will have previous experience of working for an freight forwarder in air freight export team. * You must have solid experience in both Air Exports and be able to hit the ground running Package and Benefits * Start Date - ASAP * Salary up to £27,000 to £28,000 per annum per annum depending on level of experience * Pension * 25 Days holiday * Bonus
