About this opportunity:We are looking for a HR Delivery Specialist/ People Operations Specialist (Germany & Switzerland) to perform activities related to People administration according to current processes/ procedures and local rules/ regulations. The position holder will also perform analysis and suggest improvements on processes and tools as well as participate in broader People projects and manage local vendors as needed.To be successful in this role, you should have strong attention to detail, be able to manage and manipulate large data sets and handle very sensitive information. Ideally, you should also have a basic understanding of the German and/ or Swiss labour law and other local legal aspects related to payroll and immigration. This job includes cross-functional co-operation with Finance, Legal, Sourcing, and other teams within the People function and will be based in Aachen/ Herzogenrath, Germany.Tasks and activities:Execute People policies and processesPerform and support administrative activities related to the employee life cycle from hire to retire (such as onboarding/ offboarding, long service awards), international mobility, reporting, etc.Draft employee offers, employment contracts/ amendments and agreements within a set frameworkDeliver remuneration, payroll and immigration administration servicesDevelop and maintain work instructions incl. administrative proceduresProvide operational knowledge to projects and People deliverablesSupport process modellingPropose improvements on People and other processes and toolsManage invoicing/ manual payments, including follow-up and escalation resolutionMaintain day to day cooperation & contact with external partiesPrepare SOX (payroll) controls as neededFacilitate and perform data audits as neededParticipate in testing of any People/ internal company-related systems (UAT, business test)Keep local documentation and information sources up to dateGenerate ad hoc reports & statistics as neededEnsure legal compliance of legislation (data privacy, data management, etc.) and ways of workingYou bring:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, or other relevant fields, or comparable educational backgroundAnticipated overall years of professional experience: 2-5 plus years; applications from recent Graduates with HR internship experience are welcome as wellAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suiteFull proficiency in English and German language Excellent presentation and communication skillsProactive, positive mindset with a strong process improvement attitudeTech-savvy, analytical and problem-solving skills, financial acumenAbility to work constructively and effectively in a team environment across geographies and time zonesExperience in multinational matrix companies is desirableExperience in navigating HR systems, such as SuccessFactors (SF), is desirableWe believe this job will be successfully done by a person with uncompromised ethics, good organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
