Don't worry if you can't speak French - we'll provide you with all the training you need to get to conversational level!This role is to support a joint UK/French Radiographic and Hydrodynamics facility located 45 minutes from Dijon in France.Senior Electrical Engineer (based in France)Package: £47,690 - £70,000 Plus allowances & amazing benefitsMore about EPUREEPURE is a ground-breaking facility - the first of its kind worldwide. You would be based in France to provide leadership and management of a professional engineering service in support of the CASD Programme and the company's strategic goals. Whilst training will be provided, if required, it should be recognised that significant personal commitment and self-study will be required to reach the required level. The candidate will need to reach DELF A2 ahead of deployment to work in the high hazard areaOperate in workplaces of substantial hazard (radiological, explosive, toxic)Be comfortable with working in the defence industry in support of the UK nuclear deterrentUndertake secondary roles for the UK Senior Technical operator in support of UK operationsFit to wear a respirator and work in a radiation-controlled areaPlease note: When first appointed in the role you will be based in the UK initially for a period of 6-9 months before being deployed to France. Once deployed to France you will follow the site standard 5 day working week, at the end of the assignment you will be re-deployed back to AWE in the UK.Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
