London Glass Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Glazing Estimator to join our team. As a Commercial Glazing Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate estimates for commercial glazing projects and ensuring that bids are submitted on time. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to deliver projects within budget and on schedule.
Duties:
- Utilize Estimating software to prepare detailed cost estimates for glazing projects
- Collaborate with project management teams to understand project requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Use Bluebeam software to review and mark up project plans
- Provide accurate pricing for materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Estimating software for commercial glazing projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems and materials.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors
- Experience in analyzing project plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction pricing and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
