As an IT Infrastructure Support Technician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across the organisation. From building laptops to supporting corporate servers, you’ll tackle a variety of technical challenges head-on, ensuring that the IT infrastructure runs efficiently and securely. Working closely with the IT team, you’ll also provide technical support for customers, ensuring they receive top-quality service. What You’ll Be Doing: Installing and configuring hardware, software, and operating systems for both internal teams and customers. Supporting a wide range of devices and systems, including IP phones, mobile devices, and AV equipment. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth operations 24/7. Assisting with the administration of servers and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Supporting remote working environments, including VPNs and RDP. Managing IT assets, including hardware and software licences, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Participating in a 24/7 on-call rota to respond to IT emergencies when required. What You Bring to the Table: HND/Degree in Computer Science (or similar) OR 5+ years of experience in IT support, working within a busy 100+ user environment. Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows environments (10/11) and Windows Server 2019/2022. Experience with IT security, including anti-virus, encryption, and authentication protocols. Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, email services, and cloud-based messaging solutions. Previous experience in 1st/2nd line support roles. The ability to achieve Security Clearance (SC/DV). Bonus Points For: Experience with Group Policies, Active Directory, or virtual environments like VMware. Familiarity with tools such as Endpoint Central, McAfee/Trellix, or Veeam. Experience with Mitel phone systems and mobile device management (MDM). Why This Role?
