Exciting Opportunity: Long-Term Cover Supervisor - Portsmouth Prospero Teaching is thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join a vibrant secondary school in Portsmouth as a Long-Term Cover Supervisor. This full-time position offers a very generous pay rate and the chance to make a significant impact in an educational setting. Role Overview: Position: Long-Term Cover Supervisor Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire Contract Type: Temp to Perm/Permanent Start Date: Immediate/As soon as possible Salary: Very generous daily rate Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and conducive learning environment. Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and maintain high standards of education. Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Qualifications and Experience: Experience working in a secondary school setting is advantageous, but not essential. A strong interest in education and a desire to inspire and support young people. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK.
