Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager We are working with an independent day nursery who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Manager for their nursery setting in Bedford. The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 18 months nursery management experience, demonstrating a sound working knowledge of both the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards. Position Details Your role: * Overseeing the monitoring, planning, and development of the nursery setting * Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment * Supporting and promoting equality and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice * Supervising, supporting and reviewing staff development and performance * Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery You will ideally have: * Early Years Degree or relevant childcare qualification such as CACHE, NVQ, NNEB or recognised * A minimum 18 months nursery management experience * A sound understanding of the Ofsted standards and requirements * Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations What the position offers: * £43,000.00 - £48,000.00 per annum starting salary, negotiable * Benefits package * Generous holiday allowance * Pension and healthcare To apply to this Nursery Manager position please submit your CV using the apply link
