1. Estimating Tasks
2. Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
3. Utilize quantity take-off procedures
4. Advise on tendering procedures
5. Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
6. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
