Apply now!  Responsibilities of a SEN Secondary Teacher: Create dynamic and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of your students. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages active participation, collaboration, and mutual respect among students. Regularly evaluate student performance and use data analysis to inform your instructional decisions. Differentiate your teaching approach to address each student’s unique requirements, providing additional support or challenging tasks as necessary. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success and well-being. Qualifications and Requirements of a SEN Secondary Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT, or equivalent certification. Degree in relevant field (preferred). Proven experience teaching in a secondary school setting, preferably across multiple year groups (ECTs encouraged to apply!). Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passion for working with children and commitment to promoting their academic, social, and emotional development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community. Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
