Job Title: Mobile M&E Supervisor Location: Northampton and Surrounding Areas Salary: £43,000 Duration: Permanent/Full-time Sector: Engineering The Opportunity: We are looking for a highly motivated Mobile M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Supervisor to join our team, covering Northampton and the surrounding areas. This role offers a great opportunity to take on a leadership position within a dynamic and growing company, where you will oversee the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across multiple sites. Responsibilities: * Supervising and coordinating a team of engineers and technicians across multiple locations. * Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Conducting regular site visits to monitor the quality of work and provide technical support. * Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime. * Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times. * Managing and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers. * Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and reports. * Providing leadership, training, and support to the engineering team. Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience in a supervisory role within the M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) sector. * Strong technical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building services. * Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * Excellent leadership and team management skills. * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. * Flexibility to travel across Northampton and surrounding areas. * Good, all round knowledge of Maintenance Management disciplines i.e. Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
