Senior Project Development Manager - Solar & Battery Storage London office - working on Italian projects Salary dependent on candidate experience: £60,000 - 80,000 Piper Maddox are partnering with one of the most exciting European developers of renewable energy to build out their Project Development function. With operations in Italy and the UK progressing at a rate of knots, it is a fantastic time to be joining up with their team! Our client has been established in the market since 2019 and the current team has decades of renewables experience across the board. They specialize in the development of utility scale renewable energy assets - taking them from inception, through acquiring the land and securing planning consent, all the way to the project being ready to build. Currently in their pipeline, they have over 10GW worth of projects in active development across Italy and the UK and show no signs of slowing down! Their in house capabilities include land acquisition, planning consents, project design, grid connection engineering, as well as legal support. They are looking to add to their development team working on their Italian pipeline. With the majority of the current team being based in London, you will also be based in their London office, working on Italian projects. As a Senior Development Manager, you will also have the opportunity to take a leadership role within the Italian development team. Some key experience needed for this role: > Experience in the development lifecycle for renewable energy projects - handling project management through from project inception through to RTB. > Leadership/management experience - a drive to mentor and help in the development of junior team members. > Past experience or knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market - market trends, constraints to development, Italian regulations relating to project development etc. Italian language skills would be useful in this role but not essential. You would have the opportunity for occasional travel to Italy as well as being a part of the overall team in the London office.
