School Technology Innovation Partner (One Year Only) Nancy Sprague Technology Center Description Supports schools in strategic planning and achieving strategic goals by providing technology insights and expertise to facilitate and implement innovative technology practices and improve the digital experience for staff, students, and families. Qualifications Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in technology, educational technology, education, or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in providing technology support and/or consultation in an educational environment, one (1) year of which shall have been in leading teams, projects, and/or initiatives.
Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
Knowledge of the hardware, applications, and systems typically used in K-12 education. Skill in creating strategic plans and roadmaps. Skill in utilizing problem-solving approaches to identify pain points and provide solutions for improvement. Ability to leverage technology and innovation to improve teaching and learning. Ability to make technology approachable for end users. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous initiatives. Ability to work successfully under direction, independently, and in conjunction with other team members that have varying levels of technical expertise. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
