Technical Solutions Lead

Our client requires a Technical Lead to facilitate the delivery of an Insurance Accounting Standards project. The successful candidate will work with teams and vendors to implement the new standard and perform tandem testing to validate results.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesOverall accountability for technical success of a project (SAS & Actuarial Model)Accountable to ensure Logical and Physical Designs are created (Data)Lead technical teams to develop solutions including leveraging external SMEs as required (Actuarial Model)Accountable for the optimization of IT investment by implementing solutions enabling business strategy executionReview/support the development of requirements and business processesAssist in project planning, quality assurance planning and support planningResponsible for documenting and raising deviations from architecture directionAdvisory for non-functional testing, stress testing, load testing to ensure stabilitySupport functional quality control mechanisms (code reviews, automated testing, user testing, etc.)Develop and implement appropriate security controls following applicable standardsLead technical investigations to ensure quality of solutions and to optimize platformsResponsible for the deployment of solutions to non-production and productionLead the transition of solutions to operations/support (up-to-date documentation, knowledge base, exceptions and logs in place to assist with solution failures) including participating in the certification of the solution by architectureReview and analyze existing solutions and recommend strategies for optimizationProvide expertise throughout the entire solution lifecycleInteract with the Data Platform Technical Lead to align and follow leadDevelop, communicate, monitor technical trends & technology standards through governance bodiesIn conjunction with SAS Tech Lead, lead strategic planning to achieve goals within timelines by identifying and prioritizing development initiativesSkills and Experience RequirementsApplication Data Integration and data management and processingKnowledge of tools: SAS EG/Viya, SAS Visual AnalyticsSolid SaaS implementation experience (preferably with SAS products)System design, Application setup and configurationExperienced with Application iterative/Incremental design and implementationRelease and deployment managementCloud Infrastructure knowledgeWorkflow and Business process analysisData Requirements/Mapping/Modeling – SQL Server and SQLDevOps mindset and ProgrammingBalances product features and needs with Minimum Viable Product approach #J-18808-Ljbffr
