Accountant

Are you an experienced Accountant who has previously worked within the manufacturing industry? We are working with a global leader in the aerospace and high-technology markets who are looking for an Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have in depth experience in both analysis and accounting, with advanced excel knowledge and be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA).   Accountant   Permanent Salary - Dependant on experience Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm Loughborough 1 day working from home a week   Accountant Job Description Analyse company financial statements, preparing reports and making recommendations to management Ensure financial business processes complies with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Generate, forecast and analyse trends in sales, finance and other areas of business to assist in financial planning. Participate in the monthly close process by generating various journal entries, preparing required reconciliations, and analytically reviewing specific general ledger accounts for accuracy and proper valuation.
