Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Boulder, CO is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex civil litigation, including civil rights disputes, Title IX matters, and federal and state constitutional issues. They will collaborate closely with experienced litigation attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services to clients throughout the state.Job Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and provide analysis of complex legal issues.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.Manage case files and documents.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.Prepare for and participate in hearings and trials as necessary.Assist in settlement negotiations and mediation proceedings.Maintain professional development and knowledge of legal trends.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Colorado State Bar in good standing.3+ years of experience in complex civil litigation, with a focus on civil rights disputes, Title IX, and constitutional law.Experience in insurance defense and with public entities is beneficial.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Proven track record of managing a diverse caseload under tight deadlines.Preferred Skills:Prior experience handling cases involving public entities.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Demonstrated ability to effectively advocate in court and administrative proceedings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
