We are purpose-built for IT transformation supporting federal civilian, defense, homeland, and intelligence agencies, as well as Fortune 1000 companies.Job DescriptionIn this role you will:Develop enterprise Data Architectures strategies and provide solution recommendations in support of business strategiesWork across all phases of data modeling, from conceptualization to visualization and database optimization. This extends to SQL development and database administration.Review business requests for data and data usage, research data sources and create requirements documentationCoordinate design and develop new data sources and usage ensuring consistency and integration with existing warehouse structureDesign extract, transform and load logic of data, analyze data logs to enhance performance and increase functionalityDesign control and monitoring mechanisms to ensure accuracy and data integrityCoordinate development of and / or develop BI presentation layersDesign, develop, test and deploy dashboards, scorecards, reports and alerts/notifications for the presentation of business metrics according to business user requirements consistent with integrated BI applications and warehouse structureDevelop support documents for BI applications and provides user support and trainingLead design of high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross functional view of data requirementsOversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data qualityEstablish methods and procedures for tracking data quality, completeness, redundancy, and improvementConduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasksCollaborate with project managers and business unit leaders for all projects involving enterprise dataIdentify and develop opportunities for data reuse, migration, or retirementProvide consultation during business requirements gathering effortsMay work with organization departments to design and develop data martsDesign, develop, and implement the data architecture for a data warehouse, including high-performance ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tools, routines and infrastructureLead Data Profiling and Data Quality analysis using SQL or other query based analysisDevelop and implement solutions for cleansing data to remove errors and ensure consistencyRecognize and leverage data sources both internally and externally to enhance the analysis capabilitiesReverse engineer data specifications from source systems through data discovery, analysis, and other techniquesQualificationsMandatory Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information science, or related field requiredAt least ten years of information technology experience -- architecture/engineering, information security, or related experienceAt least 3-5 years of data architecture experience, with expertise in both transactional and data warehouse modelingMaster data management and data governance experience desiredAbility to obtain and maintain a public trust clearanceSalient CRGT will not sponsor work visas for this openingDesired Qualifications:Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a big-picture viewExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical contactsAbility to lead and assist a wide range of customers, from executive level to Line of Business, in meeting their business objectivesStrong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain productive communications with external agencies and productive working relationships with other team membersStrong data modeling and database design skillsIntellectually curious, innovative and detail orientedMaintain professional demeanor in a fast-paced, changing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
