Electronics project engineer - (m/f/d)

Job Description As part of the Ships Business Unit, responsible for the construction of new ships, you will manage the design and supervision of the construction of low-voltage electrical distribution systems. Your role is as follows: You will be responsible for the technical definition and specification of electrical distribution systems: LV switchboards, tertiary switchboards, divisional switchboards, transformers, UPS, etc. You will assist the project manager in technical discussions with the customer and classification companies. You will be the technical contact for the supplier, working in tandem with the buyer. You will manage multi-trade interfaces with the various technical sectors. You will provide technical support at all stages of the design, installation and commissioning of equipment/systems. Requirements You have an engineering background with a focus on electrical engineering, and you demonstrate real versatility in the fields of electrical distribution systems, power conversion and automation. You will have significant experience of working in a design office, managing projects on industrial installations (marine, power stations, oil & gas, HV/LV electrical distribution networks, etc.), and/or commissioning. You are rigorous, methodical, organised and enjoy working in a team. You are fluent in English (spoken and written). Experience required: minimum 3 years.
