The Opportunity: Due to HKA’s continued growthin North America, we are looking to adda dynamic and experienced Director level consultant to our Construction Claims team. This role is an integral part of the Construction team, with high internal and client visibility. The Director position offers high levels of variety in the day to day responsibilities including offers good opportunities for personal career growth, team collaboration and client interface. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading and organization/filing of project documents Leading and analysis of projects schedules Development of as-built schedules based on project records Preparation of graphics to depict findings Analysis of labor and cost data Performing or contributing to Expert Testimony including the preparation of reports and court documentation Development of document chronologies Report writing People Management Qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or other STEM field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in: the construction consulting industry. Preferably with hands on experience with Problem Projects construction management firms and/or with a prior litigation consulting firm preferred. Detailed understanding of construction documentation such as contracts, change orders, Construction Change Directives, Change Order Requests, Request For Information, submittals, daily reports, schedules, meeting minutes, etc. Proficient analyzing large volumes of data using Microsoft excel.
