Project Director, Transit Infrastructure

Who we are looking for: Due to continuing growth in our Rail/Transit practice, we are seeking a Project Director, Transit Infrastructure. This position will be integral in the development and growth of GHD's Transit / Rail practice. Responsibilities: Leading multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design transit facility projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager or Project Director. Taking ownership for all aspects of the management of projects from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Interfacing with GHD Design and design team (potentially located internationally). Accountable to contractor questions, review shop drawings, and attend sites during construction as required. Preparing, tracking, and administering project budgets. Liaising with clients, participating in business development and promotional activities for the company. What You will bring to the team: P. Eng or Registered Architect in Ontario. Be accredited with PMP certification (or working towards). Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies. 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in transit facilities, rail, stations, electrification, and signaling. Project Delivery in an alternate project delivery (P3, DB, PDB) and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants.
