By knowing the unknown, providing real-time visibility and enabling breakthrough economics, SonicWall closes the cybersecurity business gap for enterprises, governments and SMBs worldwide.As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead and drive net new business, recruit and manage channel partners, and support partner transactions.Role Overview:The Business Development Director will be responsible for building and executing strategic initiatives to accelerate revenue growth and build our Channel Partnerships. You will lead a small team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and work closely with our marketing, product, and sales teams to identify and develop new opportunities, optimize our partner network, and enhance partner engagement. A data-driven approach and strong ROI focus are essential to the role.Key Responsibilities:Drive Net New Business: Develop and implement strategies to identify and help close new business opportunities, with a focus on increasing revenue and market share.Channel Partner Recruitment & Enablement: Identify, recruit, and build relationships with key channel partners. Provide training and support to ensure mutual success in the partnership.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of SDRs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistent execution of the go-to-market strategy.ROI & Data-Driven Approach: Analyze sales performance and market data to continually refine strategies. Track and measure ROI to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize profitability.Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Utilize a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that drive growth.Partner Transaction Management: Ensure smooth partner transactions, from contract negotiations to final delivery, optimizing for both efficiency and partner satisfaction.Required Qualifications:Proven track record in business development or sales leadership, ideally within the cybersecurity or tech sector.Strong understanding of the channel sales model and experience working with reseller partners, MSPs/MSSPs/ distributors, and VARs.Experience managing SDR/BDR teams both internally as well as external vendor relationships.Demonstrated ability to manage a high-performing team and drive consistent results.Data-driven mindset with expertise in analyzing sales and market data to optimize performance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to think critically, solve problems, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based incentivesOpportunity to make a direct impact on company growthCollaborative and dynamic work environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesIf you're passionate about cybersecurity and have the expertise to lead a team towards achieving measurable growth, we'd love to hear from you.SonicWall is an equal opportunity employer.
