About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Engineer to join our EU AMZL Sustainability Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in scaling our programs and driving innovation in electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Align and set stakeholders' expectations for the installation of AMZL Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and/or smart grid.
- Develop and manage vendors to ensure installation capacity, quality of commissioning, and smooth interaction on-site with other teams.
- Perform design validation to ensure that various teams are respecting electrical standards during installation of electrical equipment.
- Act as a subject matter expert and support Field Engineering to prepare supply-chain for the execution of installation on-site.
- Write business cases and present them to leadership to scope programs.
About the Team
Our EU Sustainability Engineering team is responsible for defining and continuously improving electrical standards for EV charging networks and smart grid solutions. We ensure reliability of design and obsess over costs, as we believe that waste of resources is one of the major risks for Sustainability actions.
We work closely with other teams, including Global Fleet, EU Sustainability, Field Engineering, Maintenance, and Operation teams, to establish close partnerships and leverage our collective expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
