Change Management Consultant Position: Change Management Consultant
Start Date: Late October, currently scheduling interviews
Location: Remote from Toronto or hybrid with travel to client’s office in Montreal
Duration: 3-month contract with potential for renewal or full-time offer
Overview We are seeking two experienced Change Management Consultants to join a global consulting firm in support of a major financial institution's post-implementation stages of a new HR system. This role focuses on change management activities to assist the client in navigating a comprehensive transformation of their HR operations, including performance ratings, career progression, and company-wide role and title changes.
Key Responsibilities Support the client in the post-implementation phase by developing and executing change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new HR processes and policies.
Create job aids and documentation to guide employees through changes in roles, titles, and career progression paths.
Conceptualize and communicate the depth and scope of impacts resulting from HR system changes, including system data presentation, reporting capabilities, and tracking promotion eligibility.
Manage the adoption of new documentation and messaging standards across the organization.
Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure alignment and smooth transitions in all aspects of HR system changes.
Provide support in managing change impacts on day-to-day operations and future business processes.
Identify potential issues and escalate appropriately while navigating through uncertain or ambiguous situations.
Quickly adapt to changing project requirements and client needs, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications 10+ years of experience in change management and project management roles in the Financial Services industry.
Proven track record of managing complex change initiatives within large organizations, preferably in the financial sector.
Certification in Agile, PMP, or a recognized change management certification is highly desirable.
Experience with Workday or other CRM systems is a plus.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage people effectively and escalate issues as needed.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of delivering clear and consistent messaging.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, demonstrating a high level of initiative and quick thinking.
Contract Details Initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension every 3 months.
This project is expected to last 12 months or more with the potential for a full-time offer.
