Prison Professional, Social Care Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to work within the Glasgow Criminal Justice Service in Barlinnie prison. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to individuals within the criminal justice system.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support to service users within the prison.
• Work in partnership with other agencies to deliver a comprehensive service.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with experience of working within Criminal Justice.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and its processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
