The holder of this position is responsible for managing and developing an assigned merchants portfolio for TFS (Tax Free Shopping), Payment and Post Purchase and to gain assigned new business accounts.Main duties and responsibilities:Delivery of sales targetsDelivery of new business targetsDelivery of account specific contractual obligationsCoordination of Sell-out activities done by Performance Manager within assigned accountsCross sell Global Blue products to existing accountsAccount Plan preparation and Opportunity Pipeline managementCustomer relationship managementBrick wall accounts against competitorsMonitor and manage debts level of assigned accounts and minimise bed debts exposureImprove merchants knowledge and expertise with our servicesAccurate use of CRM to plan, record and report account specific activityEnsure that all relative market and business information is transmitted to the organization in an updated, qualified and transparent wayImplement specific action plan to develop the merchant business, best serve the clientsMain KPI’s:Net Commission for TFS and DCCNew business for TFS, DCC and MediaCross selling to existing accountsRelates to / cooperates with main Function interactions:Country Manager, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, IKAM, Merchant Support representativeMain cross-Function interactions: DP, Media, Merchant Support, LegalBackground and Education:Genuine sales talent with strong results orientation, passion and determination to reach sales targets3-4 years’ experience in account management, ideally in retail or financial servicesWritten and conversational spoken EnglishUniversity graduate preferredSpecific skills and knowledge:Self motivated, customer focused and target drivenExcellent customer relationship and managementBusiness acumen and commerciality with understanding of all stages of the sales cycleNegotiation and influencingGood written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to sell the full products portfolioPriority planningAbility to use creative solutions to solve problemsGood knowledge of MS Office productsAbility to manage complex buying processProject management in cross functional team
