We have opportunities available across the country!Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit SharingThe Role:As a Management Trainee, you will progress through our 4-phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will get to know our customers by growing a sales territory of your own and providing world-class customer service. You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates within a region and across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO.Program Outline:Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) – A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactionsPhase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) – A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors.Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (15-18 Months) - A focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships.Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) - Developing leadership skills, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy for the business.Once you have completed the phases of training, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our Profit Centre locations!Minimum Requirements:University degree or college diploma – all disciplines of study will be consideredGrowth and entrepreneurial mindsetStrong interest in salesDesire to continuously learn and grow and possess a strong work ethicExcellent leadership, customer service and organizational potentialAbility to work well independently and in a team settingExcellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationshipsProficient in Microsoft OfficeValid driver’s licenseWhy Join Our Team?EMCO Corporation is one of Canada’s largest integrated wholesale distributors of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products for the construction industry.
