Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a part-time Meeting andEvents Coordinator foran established Golf Club in North Bristol. The golf club has a thriving meeting, conference and events business, catering for weddings, wakes, parties and business conferences. The Golf Club has a reputation for being one of the best venues for parties and celebrations of all kinds in the Winterbourne, Emersons Green and Downend areas of South Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for dealing with new event enquiries via email and telephone, and then creating and organizing events that deliver excellent guest experience. You will be a very good communicator, dealing in the first place with enquiries as they come in via the telephone and e-mail, and then following up with face-to-face meetings, ensuring that our customers feel confident that we can deliver the function and event that we are promising. Having organised the event, you will then be responsible for putting together the necessary details on our events planner and then delivering this to the catering team for execution. You will report to and alongside the Senior Events Co-ordinator and Director of Golf.

Experience required

We are looking to find an energetic, bubbly and enthusiastic Hospitality Meeting and Events Coordinator able to successfully sell our events services to prospective customers, and then help put together events plans that allow our catering team todeliver memorable experiences for our guests.

Previous experience in a hospitality-based role would be ideal, for example as Hotel Conference Meeting and Events Coordinator, Hotel C&B Sales, Hotel Sales & Events Coordinator, or Conference centre Sales Supervisor, however, we will consider applications from anyone who is well-presented, energetic, bubbly, organised and enthusiastic, and who can demonstrate that they understand what it means to deliver consistently excellent customer experience.

Part-time/ Full-time

Initially, we are looking for someone to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 AM until 5 PM although occasionally you may need to work beyond these hours however you will be compensated for this. There is a possibility that this role can move into a full-time job if required.
